"I spent 15 years in retail management before deciding it was time for a change. I wanted to do something more hands-on and technical, so I trained to become an electrician and I joined Sonny Vaughan Electrical over 8 years ago. 

I loved the problem-solving, working with may hands, and the satisfaction of seeing a job done right. Over time, I moved into the office side of things, which has been a whole new challenge - but in a good way. Now I get to combine what I learned on site, with the organisational side of the business, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. 

I enjoy the variety, the people, the laughs, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing quality work. No two days are ever the same, and that's what keeps days interesting." 

"I've been sparking joy (and actual electricity) across Aberystwyth and the surrounding area for nearly 12 years with Sonny Vaughan Electrical. It's been a bright journey, quite literally, bringing power to homes and leaving customers with a smile (and not just because the kettle's finally working). 

Watching the company grow over the years has been a real pleasure and working alongside the lads, who are more like a band of brother than just coworkers, makes every day feel less like work and more like a family reunion just with more cables and less casseroles (although the microwave and biscuit tin in the office has made lunchtime a more pleasurable experience for sure). 

For as long as Sonny Vaughan Electrical will have me, I plan to continue contributing to the already great work and reputation the company has.

Dylan joined the team at Sonny Vaughan Electrics in summer 2020, during lockdown, to help fulfill a contract and quickly became someone we rely upon due to his professionalism, work ethic and can-do attitude.  

Dylan's strengths are his approach at not just his role as an electrician, but to life in general. During his time with the company, nothing has phased Dylan, and as the annual go-karting champion, he's  proved his strong sense of composure.
